Vixtan Livestock Products are proud to be importers and distributors of Vink Livestock Products. Gerrit Jan Vink, founder of Vink, started developing specialised products at his farm mainly to be used in animal husbandry. The Dutch farmer appreciates high quality equipment that enables him to work efficiently and economically. These products were marketed successfully which stimulated him to continue on a larger scale. New products were developed and existing products were improved.
Still designed and built in Europe, Vink Livestock Products are now exported to more than 40 countries all over the world. New ideas are constantly evaluated, tested and the best ones will be taken into production to expand the range of Vink products.
Vink Calf Puller for Dairy Cattle
The Vink Calf Puller features all stainless steel construction, a unique rump frame which encircles the rear of the cow ensuring the puller stays in position, single handed operation and a 1.8m shaft for all the pulling length you will ever need.
The Vink Calf Puller is designed and built in Europe after extensive institutional research into the forces required for the safest and most humane birthing assistance. It hangs on to the cow whether she is standing or goes down in the middle of the job. The permanently attached holding frame fits over the cows hip bones, acting as a steady and fixed base from which the Calving Jack tilts and pulls regardless of whether the cow stands, sits or stretches out.

Vink Calf Puller for Beef Cattle
In addition to the standard dairy cattle unit, Vink now provides a more robust puller for beef cattle with all the well proven attributes of the standard unit with a larger frame, shaft and lever mechanism.

Vink Cow Hip Lifter
The cow that cannot stand may yet be saved with the aid of a Vink Cow Lifter. They are indispensable on every dairy-farm
The Vink Cow Hip Lifter features a fully galvanized frame and mechanism, removable handle, prevents injury to operator or animal, prevents damage to the handle or mechanism, can be used on either end of the spindle, for additional flexibility of operation, left and right handed threaded spindle provides fast and efficient operation. Padded frame to minimize risk of injury to the cow.
Vink Non Kicker - Kick Stop
Galvanised heavy duty kick stop from Vink. Easy to use adjustment buttons to adjust to different sized cows. Unlike standard kick stops, this Vink model has a different hook shape for the back hook and the flank hook, for better fitting and therefore more effective use. Hook the red end over the backbone and the blue end under the flank.
Kick stops do not hurt the animal and do not need to be fitted tightly - they simply hook under the flank just in front of the back leg and up over the backbone. The animal feels that there is something in front of its leg and therefore is disinclined to kick.
